You better believe that coaches and staff of NBA teams are watching the NCAA tournament with great interest. After all, the players that they select to become a part of their teams are (mostly) all playing in the tournament.  The hectic schedule and high-caliber games are a good indication of how those players will do once they make it to professional level.

In the weeks leading up to the draft, there will be many stories like this one about Al-Farouq Aminu of Wake Forest.

One spot that is almost certainly secured is the #1 pick.  It is widely accepted that the Kentucky freshman sensation, John Wall, will be selected first by the New Jersey Nets.

Along with awaiting the NBA Draft,the Wooden Award will also be presented in the coming weeks.  On April 9, one player will receive the prestigious award. The finalists for the award include Jon Scheyer and Da’Sean Butler, both of whom are playing in the Final Four.

After nearly two weeks of basketball, the NCAA Tournament has been narrowed down to four remaining teams.  The Final Four consists of: #5 Michigan State from the Midwest Region, #2 West Virginia from the East, #1 Duke from the South and #2 Butler from the West.
